Thunder screams the worlds ignorance.
Rain comes crashing down to wash us clean.
And it starts again as we spread mud on our skin.
The son rose to harden the mud like a shell to keep us within.
Closed to the pretty colors they called sin.
Sworn to die a million deaths if we broke through the mud.
Sworn to live soulless if we dare play in the lust of man.
Conform or live dead.
Pieces fell from my shell.
Looked through windows wiped clean
Fought the rest of the way free.
Swam in rainbows of colors.
Danced with lightning on the surface of the sea.
Drank eternal damnation to die and live free.
